IconConveter or IconMaker 2.0 is a program to create an icon or cursor from an image.
IconConverter creates icons or cursors from all or a part of an image and it can also save an icon as an image. IconConveter can handle the following file image formats: JPG, PNG, GIF and BMP.
IconConverter creates icon files with multiple resolutions. IconConverter has tools to manage the images and to select any portion of the image for your icon. And also you can create Vista compatible icons (up to 256x256) using images with transparency.
IconConverter creates transparency masks for the icons and also can extract the icon from an executable file.
The IconConverter GUI is very friendly and easy to use; on the same window you can see the original file and the in other frames you can look transparency and the icon or the cursors.
The installation process is very easy to perform. There is no documentation available on the program.
IconConverter works on Windows XP or later and it will need .NET 2.0 or later.
